Moroccan hash is also known in the country as kif and although illegal it is smoked by much of the male population. This hashish is brown in color and when smoked locally is extremely potent, with most of the marijuana to make the hashish comes from the Rif Mountains in the northern part of the country.
This is a greenish brown hash with a light aromatic smell, but not spicy and is very mild to smoke. This hashish can be referred to as Pollen hash, Honey Moroccan, Standard, Premier, Zero or Melange. Each of these are made from different cannabis plants, added ingredients or processing that makes a difference in the taste, but not usually in the potency of the high. The different names do not mean as much to buyers as the fact that it is Moroccan made hashish. This will mean that it will be at least 0.9 to 10 percent THC or higher.
