When the second amount of ice water is added to the mixture of water, ice and cannabis clippings that have been chopped it will need to sit about 20 minutes for the trichomes to settle to the bottom of the container.
The next step is to pour some of the green cannabis water out of the glass jar. Then more ice water is added for a second time. Then the container should be left to sit for another twenty minutes. After this has been done as much water as possible should be poured out of the jar without losing the trichomes. The next step is to filter the mixture through a paper coffee filter, which will keep the trichomes from going through the reusable coffee filter.
What will be left after these last steps are the trichomes that will be ready to press into balls or chunks.
