Once the first steps of making hash with a blender have been completed the next step is ready to be done. The mixture of water, ice and cannabis have been blended and then strained. What will be seen within a few minutes is white particles that have collected on the bottom of the jar. The white that has collected is the cannabis trichomes that will become the hashish. It will take between 20 and 30 minutes for the trichomes to all settle at the bottom of the glass container.
The next step after all the trichomes settle to the bottom of the glass container will be to pour off about two thirds of the liquid that is now green water. Then ice water should be added to the container. This will help to further separate the trichomes from the chopped marijuana leaves, stems and other parts.
