To make hashish with one of the oldest and most simple methods it is done with hand rubbing. This is a method where the live marijuana trimmings are actually rubbed in between the hands. Prior to beginning this process it is suggested wearing latex gloves for several reasons. The first is this will be a large amount of THC on the skin that can be absorbed. The second reason is the idea of hand rubbing is for the trichomes to stick to the hands and with latex gloves it is easier to collect them when done.
The cannabis trimmings are rubbed between the hands until the trichomes separate from the trimmings. They will be transferred to the gloves and can be put into balls, or it can be placed on something like waxed paper until there is enough for the size balls or chunks desired.
