Making hash with alcohol means using denatured alcohol to make the hashish. This is done by putting stems, seeds and marijuana leaves in a covered cooking pot. Then enough alcohol is put in the pot to cover the seeds, stems and cannabis. Isopropyl alcohol can also be used and is easy to find at almost any store. This is the type of alcohol commonly referred to as rubbing alcohol.
The mixture is then put on the stove and boiled, this can be dangerous, because alcohol is flammable. This should never be done over a gas flame, an electric stove or hotplate should be used. Then it is cooked for 45 minutes, after which it is strained to separate the trichomes and strained. This process is repeated using fresh alcohol, then it is strained a second time. This will result in a syrup like mixture that can be formed.
